I could kiss you right now. I spent all day looking to find this model. I saw one where I live in Boston the other day and it was gorgeous! I went home and went to the Ducati site, no luck. The one I saw was black with gold lettering. Absolutely stunning, classy. Model name?

Designed after the 75 Imola Desmo that the bike's namesake used to win the Imola 200km race in 1972.
The bike was featured in the Remix version of Rockstar Games' Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition.

on second thought, I ws doing some google image searching for the 1000LE and typed black, this came up. is it the same model? because THIS is the one I saw.

They're related, but this is the 2007 Sport 1000SE. Another model of the SportClassic line.
I can't put my finger on what inspired it though.
